Basic Performance Characteristics:

  • Rapid Cooling: Utilizes a spray device for rapid cooling of large infusions after sterilization to preserve pharmaceutical ingredients and reduce the overall sterilization cycle time.
  • Backpressure Protection: Includes measures to prevent bursting of soft bags and bottles during cooling, ensuring product integrity.
  • Thorough Air Removal: Utilizes pre-vacuum and multi-point replacement exhaust modes to remove air thoroughly from the cabinet, promoting uniformity in sterilization temperature and ensuring effective sterilization and liquid quality stability.

Scope of Application: Suitable for sterilizing various large infusions, bulk liquids, bottled products, canned items, and flexible packaging liquids.

Comparison with Water Bath Sterilization Cabinet:

  1. Heat Transfer Rate: While the heat transfer rate may not be as uniform as water bath types due to the use of saturated steam and natural convection, the sterilization effect and cycle are still efficient.
  2. Cooling Challenges: Adding cooling water externally can lead to bottle explosions if not timed properly, potentially affecting other layers within the cabinet. Rapid cooling may create negative pressure, loosening bottle caps or corks and allowing unclean water entry, leading to secondary contamination.
  3. Structural Limitations: Cabinet structure constraints impact the width, height, and length of the fast freezer cabinet, limiting capacity and potentially impacting temperature distribution. It is crucial to balance size considerations with maintaining optimal sterilization conditions inside the cabinet.
